Terms and Conditions
Mzinyi safaris Travel Terms and Conditions govern the relationship between you, the traveler, and us, Mzinyi tours and safaris.
Prices Include Kenya National Park entrance fees, Fees for the Safari driver/Guide, Accommodation on full board basis unless specified otherwise, 1 litre of bottled water per person per day while on game drives
Alteration of Routes and Substitution of accommodation
On Kenya safaris, weather, transport infrastructure or a multitude of other factors beyond our control can result in a change of itinerary. It is, however, very unlikely that the itinerary would be substantially altered; if alterations are necessary the leader will decide what is the best alternative, taking into consideration the best interests of the Clients. Where a change does occur, we do everything we can to minimize the effect, but we cannot be responsible for the results of changes or delays. Mzinyi Tours and Safaris takes every care to ensure that itineraries are followed through to the letter but unforeseen circumstances may necessitate changes. Mzinyi Tours and Safaris accepts no liability due to the alteration of routes or substitution of properties. Where properties are substituted , they will be substituted for equal value and standard.
Based on two persons sharing twin room. Where possible rooms with private bath are requested. Single rooms are available at an additional cost but can not be guaranteed.
Booking and Confirmation
In order to confirm a reservation, Mzinyi Tours and Safaris requires a 10% deposit after making a reservation and the balance is payable 1 or 2 days prior to the departure of the safari/tour. The Payments are to be paid by telegraphic transfer to our bank accounts, details will be provided on request.
In case a booking is cancelled, the following cancellation fees shall apply
No Show- 4 Days 100%
5-14 days 75%
15-21 days 50%
Above 21 days 25%
Over 30 Days 5%
Mzinyi Tours and Safaris reserve the right to amend our rates in the event of changes in direct costs to us.
Private or Group Safaris?
Unless the safari is private, clients will share the facilities with others. Clients are therefore advised to be good-natured and enjoy being with others. Be prepared to encounter customs and habits, which may be different from your own and forms part of the adventure.
Clients are advised to follow The laws and rules that govern the host countries including park regulations and not go against those laws. Some laws might be different from laws of their countries.
The company and its agents act only as agents of the passengers in all matters relating to hotel and lodge accommodation, tours, transport and etc
The company liability to passengers carried in vehicles for transfers, excursions and tours is governed by the law of Kenya and all claims are subject to the courts of Kenya. Whilst every care is taken, the company shall not be held liable for loss or damage to personal property and clients are advised to arrange relevant travel insurance unless advised as included.
Where Travel insurance is not included.. it’s the responsibility of the client to get their own travel insurance
Wild Animals and other hazards
Please be aware that your Safari will take you to remote areas and may take bring you into close contact with wild animals and other hazards, natural and man made. The Company cannot be held responsible in the unlikely event that an attack should take place or you encounter any other hazard. It is the responsibility of the Client to ensure their own safety and the Company, its nor their employees, nor their agents and suppliers cannot be held responsible for any attack, injury, death, loss/damage of personal possessions, or accident or other event of any description which that may occur during the Safari. Medical assistance may be difficult to obtain / a considerable distance away and may be limited when reached. You must carry and abide by all information we provide you with in relation to your holiday arrangements at all times as this is crucial for your own safety and security.
