Lake Nakuru/Naivasha and Masai Mara safari

Day 1: Nairobi to Lake Nakuru

Our driver will pick you up from your hotel by 7.30 A.m; we drive down the Escarpment via the floor of the Great Rift Valley, to the lake Nakuru. Besides the flamingos that the lake Nakuru is famous for, there are approx 400 other species of birds visiting the lake. Also, many species of game can be found in the park including the introduced Rothschild's giraffe, black and white rhino, waterbuck, reedbuck, lion, buffalo, leopard, baboon and many species of plains game. Lunch at the lodge followed by an extensive afternoon game drive.

Lake Nakuru National Park – Lake Naivasha

We drive through bucolic countryside to Lake Naivasha. We arrive in time for lunch at our lodge by the lake and early afternoon, we take an optional boat ride. Alternatively, a nature walk at Crescent Island is an excellent way to see wild animals while on foot.
The Island is a private game sanctuary, which is home to zebra, wildebeest, gazelle, Vervet monkeys, hares, genet cats, waterbuck and giraffe. Or you may wish to lounge by the pool admiring the view of zebras, Giraffes and waterbuck just outside the fence.

Day 3: Lake Naivasha to Maasai Mara

After breakfast we head towards the rolling plains of the Masai Mara. Before entering into the Game Reserve, visit a Masai village. Not only can you see inside a traditional Masai hut, and learn about Masai tradition and lifestyle, but also try your hand at the age-old tradition of bartering for souvenirs. The village is slightly commercialized but still gives a good idea of how the Masai live.
Upon arrival, lunch will follow. After lunch, explore the reserve on a late evening game drive. In the evening, we relax around the camp/lodge fire before an excellent dinner

Day 4: Explore Masai Mara Game Reserve

Whole day spent exploring the Mara plains to experience the Mara magic! This reserve which is an extension of the Serengeti National Park in Tanzania is Kenya's premier reserve and is famed for its astounding concentration of wildlife with the wildebeest migration mainly in July and August. On this day you have a chance to experience the hot air balloon ride over the Mara plains or go for an escorted walk within designated areas at an extra cost.

DAY 5: Maasai Mara– Nairobi

Begin today with a complete English breakfast at your lodge, followed by a morning game drive enroute to Nairobi with a  Picnic lunch enroute before proceeding on to Nairobi The balance of the day is at leisure for last minute assisted shopping and sightseeing.. Drop off at your hotel.
